If I could only take a handful of items to a deserted island, I’ll be honest, it would be a challenge picking favorites. However, rationally speaking, my most versatile, high rotation pieces always seem to be vintage cut offs, a leather jacket, a good tee and timeless pouch. These seemingly basic pieces can be worn so many different ways and never go out of style.
The pouch perfectly morphs from a daytime brunch to rooftop drinks. Add a blazer and heels to my denim and I’m ready for dinner in the Meatpacking. Last, a well fitted leather jacket in black is a fashion staple every girl should own. The motto detail on this IRO jacket (no one does them better than IRO) gave just the right amount of edge.

I love starting off the week with a fresh new scarf and as you can probably guess, Theodora & Callum was my accessory of choice. I scored this piece on sale and am totally obsessed with the intense color and pattern. With trips to Sydney and Vegas in August, I plan on bringing my new tie all as my partner in crime. Cold plane-check, poolside vibes-check, most versatile piece in my carry on-check!
Scarf: Theodora & Callum (also love this one)-Both on sale!, Denim: Rag & Bone, Shirt: Bella Dahl, Shoes: Chloe (also love this color, Sunnies: Oliver Peoples.
Denim: AG Jeans, Scarf: T&C by Theodora and Callum, Flats: Vince Camuto, Bag: Rebecca Minkoff, Sunnies: Kate Spade, Boot: Sam Edelman, Brush: MAC.
Ever since our trip to Paris, I’ve been obsessed with stripes. Admittedly, I already had a fairly large section dedicated to them in my closet, but I can’t help adding new pieces, as they are a perfect neutral without being boring. There’s something so classic yet so versatile about stripes. They can take on an entirely new life paired with leather and ripped jeans vs. a girly skirt and sweet flats. Sunday felt like a stripe kinda day.
Denim: Citizens of Humanity, Top: Zara (similar here), Bag: Gucci (also love this color), Flats: Chloe, Sunnies: Tom Ford, Scarf: Isabel Marant (similar here).

When I lived back in NC, I always looked forward to our Summer’s at Wrightsville Beach. It’s a small beach compared to Bondi or Manly, but has always been my favorite as I grew up going. This year was our first time back since moving to NYC from Sydney and it did not disappoint.
Still living off my Paris love affair, I decided to bring Coco into the beachside mix to elevate my cutoffs and off the shoulder top. I think Parisians would approve 🙂
Top: Apiece apart (also in red), Shorts: J Brand-On major sale! (also here), Shoes & bag: Chanel, Sunnies: Ray-Ban, Hat: here.
Both NYC and Paris have had their share of steamy days this summer and I find the best way to survive is a happy pair of shorts. I love my denim and typically never deviate, but I could not resist the playful print on this pair and also would have roasted in a jeans (even my rips would not have saved me). Encountering the heat Paris and Lyon seemed effortless every time I caught a glimpse of my fun print.
Shorts: SEA-ON SALE!, Tank: Topshop (similar here), Shoes: Sam Edelman, Sunnies: Oliver Peoples (similar here), Bag: Balenciaga.
