Saturday in Soho

One of my favorite memories of New York was my first visit to Soho.  I was only 15, but loved the charm of the cobblestone streets and undeniable “cool” vibe.  Every trip that followed, I always headed straight to, what I consider, my shopping and food heaven.

Now that we’re lucky enough to live in the City, Soho has become one of our regular weekend destinations.  The elusive “Cronut” line is a must, but only for the early birds, followed by Ground Support as my preferred caffeine hit, which is a necessary start to a day of retail therapy.  A visit to Soho is definitely a must for any NYC excursion.

  1. Do you put rubber soles on your Louboutins when you first purchase them? I just got my first pair and I am too paranoid to wear them out! I’ve read mixed things online about taking them to a cobbler when they’re brand new, I’d love to get your opinion!

    • Hi Siobhan! I have never had a rubber sole put on a new pair as I typically don’t wear my Louboutins as an everyday shoe. However, I have a black pair that I’ve had for several years and they got to the point where they needed a new sole and heel. Try to find a cobbler that works with Louboutins. They understand how to handle the shoe and my guy will always use a red sole – perfect color match- Vibram is the brand. They look and feel amazing. If you’re going to put a lot of wear on them (like an everyday work shoe in NYC) it might be a good idea but I don’t see the need for it until necessary. They’re like little babies aren’t they 🙂
